Hair loss? Minoxidil treatment may be what you need

It doesn’t matter is you are a man or woman, both can experience going bald or thinning hair.  There are specially formulated drugs on the market to help slow hair loss.  Minoxidil is one of those drugs that come in a cream form.  It is applied to your scalp and it works to stimulate hair growth.  If you are experiencing a certain type of hair loss, Minoxidil may work for you.

The downside to hair loss Minoxidil treatment is that you won’t likely see new hair growth for a few months.  The hair growth will only last as long as you’re applying the cream.  Once you stop, you will likely start experiencing thinning hair and loss.  You can buy this cream over the counter in the US, but it is always recommended that you speak to your doctor before using it.

Hair loss Minoxidil treatment has not been extensively studied so you must be very careful if you choose to use this product.  If you suffer from allergies, please speak to your doctor first.  This product has not been studied on pregnant women and it is not known if it passes into breast milk if you are breast-feeding.  There are also no studies done involving children and this hair growth product.
