Biotin and hair loss have been connected

Biotin and hair loss have been proven to be linked.  If you find you are going prematurely gray, suffer from thinning hair and just want to prevent further loss, consider supplementing your diet in foods with this vitamin H or Biotin.  Hair loss can be embarrassing and can make you look older than you actually are so there are plenty of ways to stop this from occurring.

Low levels of biotin in your body have been linked to eczema, dermatitis, dry skin, fungal infections, aches and pains and vomiting.  If taken in the proper amounts, it can help prevent hair loss, cradle cap and brittle nails.  So if you suffer from any of these symptoms, check with your doctor and get them to run some tests.

Biotin works with B group vitamins to basically bread down and metabolize fats in your body.  If you suffer from low levels, it can attribute to the symptoms above.  This vitamin is common in nuts, fruit and milk.  You can actually deplete your body’s biotin levels with excessive alcohol consumption, eating too much refined foods or taking antibiotics for a long time.  So if you are experiencing hair loss for no apparent reason, check with your doctor immediately.
